The Future of KTOs
KTOs act as an interface between universities/PROs and the innovation ecosystem connecting with industry, SMEs, investors and other stakeholders. Managing intellectual property also means finding a balance between the interests of academics and the mission of the university.
What expectations do clients and stakeholders have of the KTO? How do these expectations match the mission and vision of the TTO?
These questions, and many more, will be addressed by our professional panel comprising of: academic researchers, departmental heads, a vice-chancellor, a private company and/or an investor.
