Jon Wulff Petersen
Since 2005, Jon been working in a Danish technology transfer consultancy company (TTO A/S), serving both universities and companies. In this capacity, he has worked on over 100 projects in five years over a broad spectrum of technologies and industries with a special emphasis on energy and environmental technologies (cleantech), micro- and nanotechnologies, as well as electronics in general.
He has co-developed systems for technology transfer offices, which have been implemented in a number of universities. These systems include screening systems for invention disclosures, stage-gate models for commercialisation, and portfolio management systems. Most recently he has spent time co-developing valuation models for early stage technology projects in industry and university.
A member of the board of the Danish Strategic Research Council, as well as a member of the board of ASTP, Jon has a deep personal interest in the knowledge exchange between the public and private sector, and in how to bring new technology to the market – with a strong focus on end-user needs and the complications of tricky value chains and regulated markets.
